This was the first song done for the album. It's actually the only song to date that I've used drum sample augmentation. The original bass drum sound was awful, and for some reason I didn't realize that until I had a bass track and two guitars, so I added a more defined kick sound to the boomy original bass drum. It shows.

The title is about how difficult it can be to make things that feel inspired, or fit into a larger whole. Expression being the brick wall that I bang my head against frequently.
